All You Need Before Going to "The Lantern Fest"

Philadelphia Lantern Fest-2017

As many of You Might Have Heard about "The Lantern Fest"😍😍and even have planned a visit to the fest soon. Am here to tell you all you need to know and carry before you there.
So the First Thing You  Have to do is book a ticket online here http://www.thelanternfest.com
As soon as You book the tickets they send you the ticket with few instruction's.
They actually want you to come there after 4pm but somehow they are going to let the lantern's fly only when it gets dark. so one way is to go there when it's time or go early and have a little picnic around.
Actually i went there when's it's time and " I regretted" it because,
Once u go early U r not at all going to get bored around there.
If You are planning to go a bit early here's what you should know:

  • Carry picnic mat's, fold able chairs and never forget a Bag.😜
  • Go early as possible so that you will be able to reserve a fire pit for Your party for which they provide wood.
  • Carry as much as food and drinks as possible, because as time passes by people are gonna keep coming and it's hell lotta time in the food queue.
  • They give You  S'more by the time you enter, along with Your lantern's and little sketch pens, the advantage of going early is you get to decorate your own lantern.(actually they give you two color's . If you want your lantern to be more colorful,carry your coloring kit too)
  • Definitely take dinner with you or pick up something on your way because there will not be any stores around, and the food trucks will run out of food very soon.
  • Since it's summer the sun set's at 8.30 in most of the places and it take's even  somemore time to get dark,you will have to wait for their countdown, and after the Festival it's definitely gonna be very late and there will be traffic so better take food with you.
  • I saw few people brought hot dog's which they cooked in the fire and had it. Some brought dinner cooked in tray's which they heated using a mesh tray over the fire.
  • And make sure to wait patiently for their countdown Because to witness the wonder that it is,You Should be patient.

DIY Paper Flowers: Hi everyone, U might have seen a lot of Diy's for paper Flowers. But am going to Tell You a Most easy way. Cut the papers into small Circles Fold them into halves. Fold them Further. Fold The First Half of the Triangle front.(Sorry,since it's a GIF the image Quality is little poor) Fold the Second Half Backwards. You will get a triangle again. You need to cut the triangle in the shape You want your petals to be. For example i have tried two different  possibilities .   When You open the paper You will get this: You can also cut these into different patterns(  https://goo.gl/pVhRV4   ) You can also make Bigger flowers using big Circle's.you can make many of those in different sizes.
